Throwback Thursday challenge #60...

Hello all, here is my card for this week's throwback challenge over at My Creative Time (very last mintue). The challenge was to use Zooballo but, if you didn't have Zooballo, make an animal card. I have Zooballo, so that's what I used on the waves and the Narwhale. I tried something new this week that was inspired by Theresa at Crafting the web. I just love her artistic work. She makes all of her own back grounds with her inks and sponges. I tried my hand at inking my back ground and let me tell you it's not easy getting the sponge look to come out right. I like the way mine turned out. I did make a few mistakes but that happens. I tried to layer my waves like Jeannie at A place for my cards, and it turned out nice too. I hope you like my entry. Thanks for stopping, "bye".

BBT2, Mojo #146, C4C44 and The CuttleBug spot Challenges...

So this week I tried to fit 4 challenges onto one card, needless to say that was not the best idea. I'm not totally happy with my card. BBT2 challenge was to use the Going Places cat or dog. I picked the cat becuase I was making this card for my cousin(not giving it to her now). Mojo Monday challenge is always a sketch, that is were I got the layout. Crazy for Challenges was to use two ribbons: I used a paw ribbon and a teal/blue ribbon. Last was The Cuttlebug Spot challenge and you were to use a 2x2 folder or die cut. I used a 2x2 flower. This is the last time I do too many challenges on one project...LOL

Old Project with ZooBalloo...

So, today at My Creative Time Emma's "Throw Back Thursday Challenge" is to use ZooBalloo. I will be making a card tomorrow for the challenge, but today I wanted to show a project I made with ZooBalloo for my little cousin. This project was to create a habitat: I thought immediately about penguins and how easy that would be to make. It has been changed quite a bit, by my cousin and his mother, but here is the project I created for my cousin. My ZooBalloo "Habitat".

Favorite stamp...

I am just loving this sexy lady.  I will make this style card many times over.  I don't use copic markers at this time...I've bought a few promarker sets and love them.  They don't have as many colors as copic and don't have the brush tip but they do have a smaller tip I love.  They are alcohol inks and blend well! When I get all the promarkers I will move onto get some copic markers.  I hope you like the card.

Thanks for looking!

Wedding card...

I made for my neighbor who's daughter just got married.  I used the wedding solution cart.  I've seen this style card done many times on the MB.  I love the way it turned out!  Enjoy!

Fathers day cards with the kids!

The kids and I made cards for fathers day...it was so much fun!  One card was inspired by a card Emma of Creative Time made.  I wish I had a gypsy, I have DS but the computer it's on is soooooo slow.  I hope you enjoy the cards.

HELLO

I have a blog! WOW! I've been wanting one for some time, but I’ve been too scared and very busy doing my research for my stationary business to ever start one. I have fallen in love with soooooo many blogs since I got my cricut.
I rented a cricut from a local scrapbook store last year, to cut out some balloons and 30's, to make some cards for my friends and just had to have one. Then I found Robyn's (My Pink Stamper) videos on youtube and the cricut message board and a MONSTER was born. That was last July! I have close to 50 cartridges and still want more. I have gone button, ribbon, rhinestone, border punches, stamps, markers, adhesives and paper CRAZY in one year.
I started the research for my business last year and got so sidetracked. When I did all the details and stationary for my cousins wedding I knew I had to do that for a living. The way it made me feel to see everyone’s response was AMAZING. Well hello Blog world I'm here and ready to show off my new addiction to card making.
