I'd love to Sea you!

Hello all,
Today is design team Thursday at Joy's Life.  We were asked to make something with a Summer theme.  I just couldn't wait to use this scuba diver from Life's a Beach.  All the other elements are from the same cart. The background paper is from DCWV Summer Dreams stack.  The sentiment came from Lot's of Pun set you can get that here.   You should check out all the design team projects they are so Summery.  I just love them!  I really love this card and hope that you do too.  Be sure to go to Joy's Life to look at all the great stamps sets and projects.

Hey girlfriend!

Hello all,
This card is my almost entry in ThrowBack Thursday challenge.  I forgot that you needed to add the color blue when making this card. The purse is a bag cut from the Doodlecharms cart. This card is so funky and fun.  I had a different sentiment on it but didn't like it so I covered it up with the ribbon.  Really quick to make, I hope you like my card.

Wishing you sunshiney days!

Hello all,
Busy week, we closed on our second home on Friday the 13th.  I'm so excited to get in there and start painting.  I was able to get one challenge in, Throwback Thursday.  You are to use the Doodlecharm cart and the color blue.  I made one card that is just so girly and realized that it didn't meet the requirements.  I'll post that one later.  I then thought I have some retirement cards to do so I made a card for that.  I used the coconut tree and sponged the background.  I just love summer cards, I get to make sponged ocean backdrops.  I really love this card.  I hope you love it too!

Have Lots of Fun

Hello all,

Just a note

Happy Belated Birthday!

Hello all,
This post is for Pink Cricut aka Sarah aka Pink by Design.  I wish I could have been a part of the surprise birthday blog hop.  I truly think Sarah is a great person.  She is one of the sweetest people.  I had the pleasure of meeting her last year at CHA.  We stood next to each other in line to get into CHA.  I saw her shirt and said didn't you just come out with stamps.  She said yes, I was like that is so cool Congratulation.  She said thanks.  So, while standing there I thought I should make a request/suggestion.  I said you should make some fashion/shoe/purse stamps don't get stuck on the puns. Most of the people I make cards for love fashion.  She said yeah that's a good idea, I love it too.  So, in the next month or so she came out with the "Shopachoilc" and "Girls just wanna have fun" sets.  I was so happy and flattered.  I contacted her letting her know who I was, and she remember me.  We have chatted off and on ever since.  She is just great!  Her birthday just passed and while looking at the Surprise blog hop, I wanted to make her a card too.  So, this is what I came up with.  It's not Zebra print but Leopard.  I think this card is so FABULOUS, and I think she will too.  So, Sarah aka Pink Cricut Happy Belated Birthday and your card is going in the mail today.  Take Care!

Thank You!

Hello all,
I have my third entry into the MPS, NSD challenges. This is challenge #2, you are to use kraft cardstock on a project. These challenges are just great, the challenge for me is getting time to participate.  My kids just don't like to let to me craft.
The great thing about this challenge is I have an order for four men thank you cards. So, it was a great time to make them.  I only got three done in the hour allotted to make something for the challenge.  It was fun and easy!   If you haven't been to MPS yet you should go, great challenges.  I hope you like my cards.

Hey Cupcake!

Hell again,
I have a card for the MPS, NSD challenge #1.  The first challenge of the day was to make a project using a cupcake.  I love making cards with cupcakes on them.  The cupcake I use the most is on the Celebrations cart.  I've used that cupcake at least 20 different times.  It's so easy to layer and use.
I used an old sketch from Throwback Thursday challenge. The solid paper and ribbon is from PTI.  The pattern paper is from DCWV "the sweet stack".  I embossed the back with a polka dot folder and used MS cupcake punch.  I think it came out super sweet!  Go to My Pink Stamper to see all the great challenges going on.

Soak the day away

Hello all,
Happy National Scrapbook day!  I see there are some great challenges going on today.  I did make one card for MPS challenge number 4.  I will try to do more challenges tomorrow I was grocery shopping most of the day.  I did make one quick Mother's day card.  I used my imagine and I got this idea from Edna at Create with Expression.  She made a card similar to this a while back and I just loved it.  You should check out the great challenges going on at My Pink Stamper. I hope you like my card.

Happy Mother's day

Hello all,
I have a card for my first ever PTI challenge.  I have so much PTI stuff but never participate in any of their challenges or blog hops.  I'm so excited to finally be a part of one of their challenges.  The challenge was to use an impression plate with a die.  They call it the "impression plate" trick.  I used the woodgrain plate.(my favorite)  It was easy to do and I love how it came out.

Mommy's sippy cup

Hello all,
I have a fun Mother's day card for one challenge.  I saw a card from Hallmark that had a martini glass on it. The saying was Mommy's sippy cup and all I could think of was my sister, except she drinks champagne.  I knew I would have to make a card like that for her.  The inside says...You never out grow some  habits!  Happy Mother's day (and enjoy a sip or two).  I just love it!  I know she will too.  I'm entering this in Paper Cutz Mother's day challenge.  I used a champaigne glass from Martha Stewart  .  I used the bubbles cuttlebug folder to emboss the background.  I also used my favorite double loop punch.  The ribbon and some of the paper is from PTI.  Sentiment is computer generated.  I hope you like my card.

It's your day!

Hello all,
I have a quick card here for two challenges. I made this card for my mom to give to her mother.  I really love how simple this is.  The larger sentiment is from PTI and so is the small one.  I love this ribbon and don't know were it's from.(Sorry) I found the ribbon, I got it from custom crops here is the link
First: My Sheri Crafts the theme is Mother's Day. Second: My Craft Spot the theme is "We love you, Mom".  I hope you like my card.

For a Great Aunt

Hello all,
I have a mother's day/aunt card for one challenge. Fantabulous Cricut "Flower Showers" you are to use at least three flowers.  I got this card idea from Courtney Lane Designs.  She had a card with lots of glitter flowers and I knew I would have to scraplift that some kind of way.  I don't have the cart she used but I'm still really happy with the way it turned out.  I used Serenade and Mother's day bouquet for flowers and leaves.  The sentiment is from Joy's Life "Mother & Daughter" set.  All of the glitter paper is from different DCWV sets and solids are from PTI.  I really think this came out cute and hope my aunt loves it.  I hope you like my card.
