Get Well Card

Hello all,

This is a card for two challenges.  The first is Fantabulous Cricut the challenges is to make a get well card. CHECK!  Next challenge is MAG by the page challenge you were to use page 72 from Forever young cart. CHECK!  This card was really easy, I used the flower from the page.  I used paper trey ink for most of my paper, stamp sentiment and ribbon.  The pattern paper is from the DCWV stack Cafe Mediterranean.  The get well soon is a little hard to see, I should  have used darker ink.  Oh well, I like the card and I hope you do too!

Thanks for stopping "bye".

Thankful card!

Hello all,

This card is for another challenge.  I don't even think I post many cards that aren't for challenges. LOL The card is only for one challenge this time.  MAG page challenge, the page this week is 69 from the Everyday Paper Doll cart.  I'm in the mood for fall and thanksgiving and there is a leaf on this page...Prefect.  I cut out three leafs to make this fall like thankful card. I used an old EK Success punch for a border at the bottom.  It was really easy and simple.  I had all the paper and ribbon laying around from the card I made last night.  I really like it and hope you do too!

Thanks for stopping "bye".

Happy Thanksgiving Card

Hello all,

Doggy Christmas Card

Hello all,

I made this quick and easy card tonight for another challenge.  I am trying to get as many challenges done before I have to pack up my stuff.  Our house sold and we close on the 10th of December.  So, lots of packing to do!   I am going to wait till the last minute to pack up my supplies.  I know I will buy a few things on black friday.  I so want the plum color cricut at Walmart.   Also, the lites will be $20 each and I want a few of them.  We will see if I can scrap up some money for it.  I fill like I've been so selfish lately buying stuff for myself and I have three kids I need to start shopping for.
Anyways here is my card for BBT2 challenge.  The challenge is to use the dog from "Create A Critter".  I just got it in the mail Saturday and couldn't wait to use it.  I laid everything out in my Gypsy.  I think I made the dog a little big for my Peachy Keen Stamp and the hat.  Oh well, I wasn't about to cut it again. I still really like the card and hope you do too.  The sentiment is from C.C. Designs, set is called winter.  I just love their sentiment stamps.  Although they have to be cut.

Thanks for stopping "bye".

Turkey Card: Throwback Thursday Challenge #121

Hello all,
I got another challenge done today. YAY!  It's at the last minute, for Throwback Thursday.  The challenge was to make a food card.  I made a turkey card for Thanksgiving.  The turkey is from Doodlecharm, I am trying to use a lot of my older carts lately.  I think it's nice and fall like.  I hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping "bye".

Spooky Tree Card: Jitterbuggin Challenge

Hello all,
It is like challenge crazy out here in the craft world.  I have a list quite long of challenges that I would like to enter but not likely going to happen.  I did however do this card for Jitterbuggin Challenge.  It was three requirements: A sketch, add a tree and add something yellow.  I think I'm the only one still in halloween mold because almost everyone has Christmas or Fall trees.  I have been loving this tree since I got the "Happy Haunting" cart.  I sponged the background to look like a  fall night at dawn.  I put little bat's in the corners.  I think the card is cool.  I hope you like it.  Thanks for stopping "bye".

Card for my Nephew & Made by Momo Challenge

Hello all,

This card is for my nephew which I miss so much.  He is crawling now and I hate I can't see that.  I wish my sister was more computer savvy so we could skype or something.  I really want to see him more. =(
Anyway, Momo's challenges is to use embossing dry or wet.  I went with wet embossing, it's something I've wanted to do for sometime and just haven't done it.  I got the water gun from a Rak, it's from the B is for boys lite cart.  I really think it's cute.  You can click on the picture to enlarge it.   I hope you like it.   Thanks for stopping "bye".

Challenge#49: Stocking Card

Hello all,
I made this card for Cricut Cardz Challenge #49.  The challenge was to make a Christmas card with something that starts with a "S" well that's just about everything Christmas related. My "S" is the stockings of course. LOL  I got the stockings from Doodlecharm cart.  I used my Peachy Keen stamps on the stockings.  I really love this card!  I hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping "bye".

The Fantabulos Cricut challenge this week was to use a bird or something related.  I used the bird wreath from the Martha Stewart Seasons cart. I really love that cart!
The challenge over at More Than Favors is "Anything Goes".  That was easy!  I like the card, the sentiment is from Amy R's (C.C. Designs) winter set.  I hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping "bye".

Happy BeeLated Birthday card

Hello all,
This is a card I made to go along with the set of cards I'm sending to my cousin. We went out  for her birthday but I didn't have a card to give her.  So, that's way it's so late.  I need to get some of the cute pun stamps that keep coming out, to go with all the cute cards like this.  Oh well, the bee is from the Paisley cart.  I hope you like the card.

Thanks for stopping "bye".

Sets of Cards for Family!

Hello all,
I have been very busy this week making cards for my Mother-in-law and my favorite cousin.  Cards are the gifts that keep on giving.  My mother-in-law loves the stamp of the lady holding the martini glass.  I knew I had to make a set with her on all the cards.  They are all over the place in colors and styles but I know she'll love it.  My cousin said that she would like shades of pink and teal/aqua so I knew that would be fun.  The cards are all so cute.  I didn't have enough memory to take pictures of them individually, so you can see them as a set.  I hope they like them.  Thanks for stopping "bye".

M.A.G Challenge

Hello all,
I made a card for M.A.G first challenge. Their challenge is to use Celebration cartridge page 92.  That's cool but it's only balloons.  I am in the process of making a gift set of cards for my cousin's birthday and thought why not.  She wants her cards in shades of pink and teal/aqua.  I have quite a few Peachy Keen stamps and only used them twice so this was a great way to use them.  Quick and easy card....I hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping "bye".

MPS: 30 minute color Challenge

I watched the video of Robyn and Karlee late Friday night and got right up, timed myself and made this card.  I just figured out how to upload my pictures from my new camera.  It was so much fun trying to think of something easy and quick.  I'm in full Halloween mode so I knew I had to make a Halloween card.  I love it! There can be pink in Halloween, pink is not one of my colors so the card is mostly purple.  Purple is my favorite color like Karlee.  I hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping "bye".

Hello all,

Hello, I just wanted to post some of my stationary today. I don't have a camera right now to post any of my new work. Cards I do just for fun.  I need to start selling them because buying all that stuff can really add up. LOL

Hello Kitty Card

Hello, today my daughter and I finally got around to making a card together. She has been wanting to make a card for a while now and she saw this Hello Kitty sizzix die I got for $2 a long time ago. I had never used it or any sizzix die for that matter. I am not a fan, I guess the cricut has spoiled me. My hat is off to those of you that have been doing this in the pre-cricut era; you all have lots of talent and patience. I hated cutting it out over and over to get all the colors I wanted. But, my daughter loved it and we had fun, of course I did all the work except for the glue on the backs. I also had her stamp the sentiment. It was supposed to be a quick card but not with all the pieces you have to cut and peice together. However we loved how it turned out. I hope you like it!
Thanks for stopping "bye".

Think Pink...Cuttlebug Spot and Creations with Christina Challenge #2

It's breast cancer awareness month and I have been wanting to make a card for sometime. My husband's aunt was just diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer, so it's very close to home right now. Do a self breast exam, it's very important to catch it early.
So, here is my card for two challenges. This was my first time paper piecing and it was fun to do. I love how it turned out. I used Stardream metallic paper for the back ground. I embossed it with the swirls and swiss dots cuttlebug folders. I used spellbinders labels nine. The stamp is from a inkadinkado set.
I feel like it's card making month or something. I got so many ideas in my head for cards. Can't wait to make more cards. Thanks for stopping"bye".

Creations with Christina Challenge #1

I seat around all day on Saturday blog hopping.  I had plans to make so many cards and it didn't happen.  So, today on my birthday I decided to make at least 1 card out of the 10 I had planned for "Card making day".  I used the sketch from Creations with Christina's Challenge and I just love how it turned out.  I used mostly Paper trey ink products.  I hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping,"bye".

Hello Again...My Pink Stamper Challenge

It's been a long time since I posted something. I have to say, the ladies that post everyday or every other day with multiple children are awesome. I have been prepping my house for sale since July. With all the repairs, painting, decluttering and staging I have just not wanted to do anything. Plus I have been doing invitation, menus and programs for a 10.10.10 wedding. I can't wait for this to be over so I can make cards again. My daughter is ready too!
Ok, so enough of the talking about my absence. I did make a card today, I was so excited about the RAK I joined for cartridge cuts. I don't have "A Childs Year" and wanted some of the cuts and GrammaJ on the MB did them for me. So, I couldn't wait to do a card with them. I won a stamp set from Pink by Design called "A Haunting We Will Go" so I couldn't wait to use them also. I like my card I used one of my favorite Martha Stewart punches and some Martha Stewart pattern paper. Quick and simple, I went to My pink stamper blog today, as I do everyday and saw today's challenge and thought great timing. So, here it is....

Throwback Thursday challenge #60...

Hello all, here is my card for this week's throwback challenge over at My Creative Time (very last mintue). The challenge was to use Zooballo but, if you didn't have Zooballo, make an animal card. I have Zooballo, so that's what I used on the waves and the Narwhale. I tried something new this week that was inspired by Theresa at Crafting the web. I just love her artistic work. She makes all of her own back grounds with her inks and sponges. I tried my hand at inking my back ground and let me tell you it's not easy getting the sponge look to come out right. I like the way mine turned out. I did make a few mistakes but that happens. I tried to layer my waves like Jeannie at A place for my cards, and it turned out nice too. I hope you like my entry. Thanks for stopping, "bye".

BBT2, Mojo #146, C4C44 and The CuttleBug spot Challenges...

So this week I tried to fit 4 challenges onto one card, needless to say that was not the best idea. I'm not totally happy with my card. BBT2 challenge was to use the Going Places cat or dog. I picked the cat becuase I was making this card for my cousin(not giving it to her now). Mojo Monday challenge is always a sketch, that is were I got the layout. Crazy for Challenges was to use two ribbons: I used a paw ribbon and a teal/blue ribbon. Last was The Cuttlebug Spot challenge and you were to use a 2x2 folder or die cut. I used a 2x2 flower. This is the last time I do too many challenges on one project...LOL

Old Project with ZooBalloo...

So, today at My Creative Time Emma's "Throw Back Thursday Challenge" is to use ZooBalloo. I will be making a card tomorrow for the challenge, but today I wanted to show a project I made with ZooBalloo for my little cousin. This project was to create a habitat: I thought immediately about penguins and how easy that would be to make. It has been changed quite a bit, by my cousin and his mother, but here is the project I created for my cousin. My ZooBalloo "Habitat".

Favorite stamp...

I am just loving this sexy lady.  I will make this style card many times over.  I don't use copic markers at this time...I've bought a few promarker sets and love them.  They don't have as many colors as copic and don't have the brush tip but they do have a smaller tip I love.  They are alcohol inks and blend well! When I get all the promarkers I will move onto get some copic markers.  I hope you like the card.

Thanks for looking!

HELLO

I have a blog! WOW! I've been wanting one for some time, but I’ve been too scared and very busy doing my research for my stationary business to ever start one. I have fallen in love with soooooo many blogs since I got my cricut.
I rented a cricut from a local scrapbook store last year, to cut out some balloons and 30's, to make some cards for my friends and just had to have one. Then I found Robyn's (My Pink Stamper) videos on youtube and the cricut message board and a MONSTER was born. That was last July! I have close to 50 cartridges and still want more. I have gone button, ribbon, rhinestone, border punches, stamps, markers, adhesives and paper CRAZY in one year.
I started the research for my business last year and got so sidetracked. When I did all the details and stationary for my cousins wedding I knew I had to do that for a living. The way it made me feel to see everyone’s response was AMAZING. Well hello Blog world I'm here and ready to show off my new addiction to card making.
