4 You

Hello all,
Today I have a set of cards and a matching box.  I love making these for my children's teachers.  I make the box with my MS score board.  The paper is cut to size 6 1/2 x 8. You score the bottom box 1" on all sides and the lid 1 or 2 space before the 1" mark.  I wish I was better at ruler sizes.  I need to make a few more cards to go with this set. The sentiments are from Docerela Creations " Home for Christmas" set.  This is a must have set for Christmas.  This set is just so great for Christmas projects, I really love the long sentiments for curving on cards.  Home for Christmas set is on sale through the week for only $10 now that's a deal.
I'm entering this set in the JUGS "Set of Cards and Matching Packaging" challenge.

Scraptastic Monday Challenge

Hello all,
Today is another great challenge over at Scraptastic Monday.  This challenge was super fun and a real challenge.  You are to make a Christmas project/card and you CAN'T use the colors green, red and gold. When I think of Christmas those are the colors I think of!  So, for my card I went with bright colors fuchsia and pink.  I used the SUPER cute "Christmas Girl with Banner" from Scraptastic Designs.  I love this girl and had so much fun coloring her!  I put a wobble behind her for even more fun! The sentiment is from Scrappymoms.  I used the imagine to make the background paper.  I printed out the Christmas words from the Word Collage cart.  That's all for this card, it was super simple!  I hope you come and join the fun over at Scraptastic Monday Challenge and check out all the other design teams wonderful projects.  This is also being entered at the Queen's Royal Digi challenge the theme is Christmas/Winter Wonderland.

Christmas Cosmo

Hello all,
My card today is for three challenges.  I had a lot of fun making this card.  When I read the requirements for PKS Let's Face it Friday challenge I knew what I wanted to do.  I love cocktails and sharing cocktail recipes. I love the martini glass on "From my Kitchen" cart.  I wanted the card to look very festive.  I added some ornaments from "Joys of the Season" cart.  The hat is from "Pooh and Friends" cart.  The sentiment is printed from the computer.  The super cute PKS face is from Laughy Taffy Assortment set.  For texture I added ribbon and some pearls. I really love this card and can't wait to send it to my friend!
This card is being entered in the following challenges.
PKS: Holiday Recipe Challenge
Scrappy Moms: From My Kitchen cart challenge
Whimsical Wednesday: Add Texture challenge

Season's Greetings

Hello all,
Today I'm participating in the PaperTrey Ink monthly blog hop. This is my first time and I am so excited!  You are to get inspiration for your project from this photo:
My inspiration came from the warmth of the home setting and the green and red.  I used a cuttlebug folder for my wreath, I went over it with a ink pad for more depth. The sentiment is from PTI "Signature Greetings" set.  The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  It was very simple to make.  I'm also entering this card in Really Reasonable Ribbons; Christmas theme CAS use ribbon challenges.

Turkey 4, 5 and 6

Hello all,
I didn't get chance to post yesterday so I'm going to post 6 turkeys today.  My first post is the three cards I would have posted yesterday.
My first turkey card is using another turkey from  "Autumn Celebration" cart.  I'm using scraps on all my cards. This card was really simple to make.
Second card is using a turkey from "Celebrate with Flourish" cart.  I'm not really sure what I'm doing on this card...lol  I was just trying to use scraps!
Third card is using the turkey from"Create a Critter" cart.  I know this is a favorite of the turkeys.  The sentiment is from Scrappymoms.  I added some twine to the hat. The turkey's face is a PKS stamp. The turkey is on a wobble!   Stop by later for three more cards using cricut cut turkeys.

I went with a Winnie the Pooh cut for my card from "Pooh and Friends".  I made him a little to big for my card but didn't want to recut him.  I used all scraps for this card...YAY!  I love being able to use scraps for cards!  The sentiment is from PBD.  The card was really simple to make.  I didn't think the cuts on a disney cart would be this easy but there isn't much to Pooh.

Naughty or Nice

Hello all,
Today is my first DT post for Scraptastic Monday Challenge.  This week the challenge is to create a card with embossing, twine and your Favorite color! Your favorite color should be the dominant one on your project.  You can use any digital image or your cricut to play along!
Well, most of you know my favorite color is Purple so that is the color I went with.  I used the cute little "Naughty or Nice List" I just love this girl, she looks like she means business.  I colored her with my ProMarkers and added some dimension to the hat and list.  I did both dry and wet embossing.  I embossed the ornaments with MS embossing powder and the snowflake background is a 5x7 cuttlebug folder.  I ran my ink pad over the snowflakes for a little more depth.  I really love this card!  I hope you come over and see all the DT's projects and play along with us this week.

Wishing you a lovely day

Hello all,
Welcome to the first ever Scraptastic Designs Blog Hop.  This hop is special because it's to kick off the new challenges starting on Monday.  Cindy of Scraptastic Designs has opened up a wonderful digi shop and everyone on the hop is showcasing her digi's.
I hope you had fun on this hop, I'm the last stop.  You should have come from Joni if you're just stopping by my blog then you can start from the beginning HERE.  The hop will be going on until Sunday, so, please stop by tomorrow for another card using a FABULOUS Scraptastic Design.
My card is using the cute little "Sweet as can be" digi.  I think this card is so Pinkalicious.  Half way through this card I was thinking why didn't I use purple...Oh well!  I love this card too!  It was so much fun making this card I did a lot of cutting to give her a 3D look. I colored her with my ProMarkers.  I used a spellbinder die and two ek success punches.  The lace is from RRR and I added some bling.  That's it for my card today.
I hope you enjoyed the hop and will join in on the Scraptastic Monday challenges starting this Monday November 7th. Also Cindy is giving away some great candy.  She is giving away 3 of her digi's (of your choice) and a set of 12 Prisma Colored Pencils. In order to be eligible for the grand prize you must stop at every blog and leave a comment.  That's it, pretty simple!

Oh wait...what's a hop without some candy!  I'm giving away 10 yards of Christmas baker's twine.  Here is a great way to get a jump on some Christmas projects.  Just leave a comment on this post, you don't have to be a follower but how else will you if know you won.
